Kuroko, who hears everything, states that she must fight and end the nightmares of her onee-sama. Despite her immense powers, Awaki manages to escape. Mikoto confronts Awaki and wants to end her nightmare – the experiments, the memories and pains she is forced to have, the Remnant. Mikoto sets off and Kuroko follows although she is still injured. The two, separated by a door, hide their secrets reluctantly. Kuroko wishes that rain won’t fall that night as the weather predictions have been inaccurate of late. Kuroko does her best to hide her encounter from Mikoto, who says that she is going out again. Not to forget about the other reason for the experiment revival, Accelerator makes his debut taking care of Last Order, the last Misaka clone. Luckily for Kuroko, she is released without further harm and receives information on Awaki. With the Remnant, the experiments can potentially continue again. With the system gone, only remnants remain, and for that reason Mikoto has been feeling unsettled. Injured by Awaki’s ability, Kuroko listens to the situation and learns that the Tree Diagram has been long destroyed. Kuroko goes to stop these smugglers but is intercepted with ease by a fellow Level 4 teleporter named Musujime Awaki ( Sakurai Harumi) who utilizes a technique called Move Point. Meanwhile, Kuroko has work for Judgment and reviews a security shot of smugglers with a 23rd District emblem as Uiharu Kazari zooms in. Once they leave, Mikoto looks up again and casually states that rain is in the forecast. Kuroko believes that she is in love with Touma and pretty much confirms it based on Mikoto’s reaction. Kuroko’s attempt to get Mikoto some sexy underwear fails when Mikoto reaches out for a breast pad.
Although her invitation to hang out gets accepted, Mikoto has other things in mind.
